  • Assist the AFWC和DCC by providing administrative and regulatory support in the overall management of the experiential curriculum [ACOTE D.1.0]; including compiling of accreditation materials for ACOTE reports and visits.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of Fieldwork contracts and capstone MOUs.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and managing department policies and procedures associated with fieldwork and capstone standards according to ACOTE.
  • Assist the AFWC和DCC with event coordination for fieldwork and capstone educator activities and Florida Occupational Therapy Educational Consortium (FLOTEC) meetings 和工作组.
  • Assist the AFWC和DCC with developing training materials needed to ensure fieldwork educators and capstone site mentors are equipped and prepared for taking students.
  • Assist AFWC和DCC with organizing and compiling annual/semi-annual reports consistent with Program Evaluation [ACOTE C.1.0. 和D.1.0].
  • Assist with the onsite supervision of level 1 fieldwork placements in non-traditional 设置.
  • Work with AFWC和DCC with regular communication with students to keep student 填写和信息是最新的.

  • Assist the AFWC和DCC with all pre and post student placement tasks.

Occupational Therapy Practitioner: support staff that can speak the “language” of Occupational Therapy when communicating with facilities under the direction of the AFWC和DCC. 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills necessary for phone calls and email communication to capstone sites and communication with DCC and other faculty.
  • Ability to multi-task for regular follow-up with multiple fieldwork and capstone sites.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strategies necessary for managing delegated AFWC和DCC的任务.
  • Understanding of Occupational Therapy, ACOTE standards, emerging practice areas.
  • Understanding of database management systems for navigating, troubleshooting, entering, organizing, and tracking information.
  • Strong technology skills related to Microsoft office programs (Excel, Power Point, Word, 形式, Sway等.), Office 365, calendaring skills, and other tools utilized 完成工作要求.

Education, Certificates, Licenses, & 经验

  • Minimum Education Requirement: Received OTA or OT degree from an ACOTE accredited program; verification of State of Florida Licensure.
  • Minimum Work 经验: 1-year clinical experience as an Occupational Therapy practitioner.
  • Required qualifications: Knowledge and experience of the profession of occupational 治疗.

  • Previous experience in a higher education setting.
  • Existing knowledge of JU systems.
  • 经验 as a fieldwork educator and/or completion of a fieldwork educator certification 课程.
  • Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office programs.
